“Biochemistry reveals what living things are made of and how they work, beginning at the level of atoms and working up through the genes and proteins to the cells, tissues and organs of multicellular life” The Department of Biochemistry offers programmes at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research level. The undergraduate programme was started in the year 1994, the postgraduate programme in 1997 and M.Phil Programme in 2014.The syllabus covers a wide range of subjects in the field of Biochemistry and is multidisciplinary in nature incorporating the branches of Microbiology and Biotechnology to enable the students to scope up with the recent developments in the field of Biological Sciences.
Similarly practical’s are also scheduled as with the recent developments in the field of Biochemistry. Every year, the department produces consistent Good results,University Gold Medals and University Ranks in both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programme with all the out gone students having secured their degrees. The department has a team of dedicated and experienced faculty which is a highlight. The department of Business Administration was established in the year 1998 with the course BBA. In 2008 an additional course was introduced by the department MBA.BBA is a programme which help the students to develop organizational skills, administrative skills, business discipline and concepts relevant to Information Technology applicable to business. It also helps the management to develop through their leadership skills decision making styles and handle managerial situations aptly, through their skillful and well organized planning.

The course prepare the students to showcase their best skills in post graduation programmes like MBA, M.Com, MIB, MBM, MSW, MCA, CA, ACS, ICWA etc. In order to stand and to equip them adequately so as to face the competitive world the students take part in all managerial activities like management meet, Quiz competitions, and Entrepreneurship activities.
